Nano Energies is the second largest provider of ancillary services in Czech Republic for 2025 according to TSO's annual auctions
This is good news for us, our customers and the decentralised energy sector. As a flexibility aggregator, we have the second largest market share in Czechia in the provision of ancillary services for 2025, according to the TSO's annual auctions.
In the results of the annual ČEPS auction, we won 13% of the annual reserved capacity for balancing the system in 2025. This makes us the second largest provider ancillary services for ČEPS. We are even number one for aFRR services, with 40% of the market.
We are also making fans of modern, decentralised energy happy. A flexibility aggregator has finally made it into the top 5. This is a sign that our customers' smaller, decentralised sources are also gaining ground in the Czech energy sector, complementing large, traditional energy sources. While last year we won only 3% of the capacity in the annual CEPS auction, this year we have already reached 13%.
It is important to stress that these figures only reflect the results of the annual auction, through which ČEPS solicits large volumes of reservations for the coming year. There are also daily auctions where we continue to have a significant amount of MW available to our customers.
