smartEn welcomes its newest member, Prague-based Nano Energies to act as ambassador to CEE
smartEn – Smart Energy Europe, the European business association integrating the consumer-driven solutions of the clean energy transition, welcomes its newest member, Czech energy tech company Nano Energies. The addition of the Prague-based energy flexibility leader and pioneer with operations in five other CEE countries will support smartEn thought leadership and pan-European impact on the energy transition.

“We are delighted to welcome Nano Energies to the smartEn family! Nano Energies have a long history of being pioneers in their field and we look forward to working together to expand our reach in the Central and Eastern European region”, said smartEn Executive Director Michael Villa adding that with the energy transition well underway, there are many important steps to take regarding changes to policy and markets access.
smartEn is a thought leader at the European level in both shaping and standardising the technical and legislative aspects of the energy transition. With Nano Energies becoming a member of smartEn, the association plans to increase awareness on important topics such as demand response in the CEE and Balkan region as well as gain a larger impact on shaping the conversation in the most productive way across all important aspects of the clean energy transition.
Specifically, throughout 2023, smartEn and Nano Energies will host discussions with decision-makers in the CEE region to improve policies to accelerate the energy transition. In addition, smartEn will partner with Nano Energies in hosting the 2023 Share Your Energy conference. The two parties also plan to host a dedicated webinar focusing on the CEE region to present smartEn/LCP-Delta DSF Market Monitor 2022.
“smartEn is a thought leader on the most important topics to modernise and decarbonise the European energy system. We will work with them to push forward the clean energy transition in the central and Eastern European region and update the grid to the 21st century. Nano Energies is proud to be part of a collection of the most advanced and thoughtful group of companies that are at the forefront of the energy transition. By working together, we can make sure that everyone has access to clean, affordable energy and that the energy transition is equitable and sustainable,” commented Nano Energies CEO Stanislav Chvala.
Nano Energies is a Czech company with 14 years of history in the sector.
