Reservation
You are getting paid for being ready to lower or increase your energy production or consumption for the grid. The amount of reserved MW depends on your operation schedule. Everything is adapted to your needs, for free.
Activation
If requested by transmission system operator MAVIR, devices will lower or increase power production or consumption by the promised (reserved) amount. Prices for activation are set individually and tend to fully cover the fuel costs.
Biogas power station
Biogas. Cheap fuel that every agro company has plenty of. But did you know that you don't always have to use it to meet your production targets? It's actually very simple. You could lower your biogas plant's energy production by, let's say, half if asked. Your distributor will supply the rest of the energy conventionally. And you still get paid for it. Does that sound too good to you? It doesn't have to be. Because by reducing your energy production from the BPS and using energy from the grid, you flatten the grid curve. You save gas and get paid for the whole time you're willing to do so.
