Olivian Savin

Since August 2024, Olivian Savin has joined the team of Nano Energies as a country manager. Olivian is a professional in the energy field, known for his flexible approach and adaptability in facing challenges. With a technical background and excellent communication skills, Olivian adjusts his strategies to meet the constantly changing demands of the energy industry, thus contributing to aggregation and auxiliary services. He began his career in France, where he worked at Europe's largest energy producer, Electricité de France (EDF), where he developed a theory and software for estimating the start and stop costs of hydroelectric power plants. After that, he decided to return to Romania, where he worked in an energy startup, followed by a brief period in regulations. He graduated from the Faculty of Power Engineering at the Politehnica University of Bucharest as valedictorian, then pursued a master's degree at the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG) and completed his studies with an industrial PhD.
